I'm so glad you're joining me on this new adventure! I wish I could say it was a straightforward path to getting here, but it has been a long and winding road. The final push to start Chaparral Threads was a joke I made with my husband, and the thought just wouldn't leave my mind. I kept thinking about it, and finally, after a walk with my son on the trail near our new home in Fillmore, CA, I came back and told my husband, "Actually, I want to do this!”

And so I did.

I’m starting small. I’m still working my day job. I’m still a busy mom and wife. My husband and I also just bought a new house here in Southern California that needs a full renovation. So you know I’m not lacking for things to do!

Chaparral Threads is important to me for so many reasons. I wear what I sell because I wanted cute matching outfits for families. Specifically, mommy and me coordinated clothes that are not super-gendered or plain. I spent so much time searching online for stylish mother and child matching apparel and came up empty. I figured others out there want the same: to share the adventure of getting dressed and moving through life as a family. And I want dad to join in too! In fact, it’s for the whole family.
